NEW!! DMG Hawaii now reps Heat Pipe
Technology
Heat pipes may be described as having two
sections: precool and reheat.
The first section is located in the incoming air stream. When warm air
passes over the heat pipes, the refrigerant vaporizes, carrying heat to the
second section of heat pipes, placed downstream. Because some heat has been
removed from the air before encountering the evaporator coil, the incoming
air stream section is called the precool heat pipe.
Air passing through the evaporator coil is assisted to a lower temperature,
resulting in greater condensate removal. The "overcooled" air is then
reheated to a comfortable temperature by the reheat heat pipe
section, using the heat transferred from the precool heat pipe.
This entire process of precool and reheat is accomplished with no additional
energy use. The result is an air conditioning system with the ability to
remove 50 to 100% more moisture than regular systems. |

DMG Hawaii is the new Tower Engineering
representative
TEI products include custom
and modular design structures to complement the
architecture of the building they serve, thereby creating a unique blended
balance of aesthetics and function. The cooling towers are designed for long
term life with full thermal performance capability for the life of the
tower.
TEI towers are FRP or monolithic concrete with PVC
or concrete fill, and TEI is widely
known as the recognized leader in the supply and installation of permanent
design, counter-flow, induced draft cooling towers.

AAON is now represented by DMG Hawaii |
We believe
AAON's seacoast construction option is a perfect fit for our island
projects. AAON
offers
packaged rooftop units,
chillers, and
air handlers,
and pays special attention to humidity issues in their
RN Natatorium units.
Click on the brochure at right to read about the AAON Model LL air and
evaporative cooled chillers, with copper fin boiler technology. The
evaporative cooled model includes 304 stainless steel wetted surfaces, and
higher efficiencies than an air cooled chiller. The system utilizes a
patented desuperheater above the wetted evaporative condensing section that
reduces the water usage and chemical treatment requirement for the condenser
water by 20 to 100% depending on the ambient.

Energy
Labs Factory Tour

We encourage all of our clients to see the
Energy Labs factory in person (click here to
contact our office to arrange a visit soon!), but for a preview you
are welcome to take the virtual tour by
clicking on the picture here. Energy Labs builds fully custom air
handling units, including round units, units to fit around existing building
structural columns, light weight aluminum units, units with walk-in service
vestibules, stacked units, units that are pre-piped, down-shot chilled water,
and 3-deck multi-zone units. Units can be built to match existing AHU
footprints, or they can be built in sections to fit through doorways or into
elevators and then reassembled indoors for retro-fit applications. Energy Labs
can also mount controls provided by others within the confines of the unit, or
they can design, purchase, and install open protocol DDC systems within the
unit.
